Rest of May-

On the 5th of May we not only get to celebrate Cinco de Mayo but also my Dad's birthday!  I made my first Tres Leches cake and it was yummy!
Ava was teaching Anson some selfie skills.
I love the simplicity of Mother's Day with pictures from my kids and I got spoiled with a yummy breakfast.  While we were eating Ava asked, "why isn't there a kid's day?"

We were also lucky to have both Grandma's over for Mother's Day dinner.  They are such amazing Christlike women. I'm grateful for their example of consistent strength.

I pulled out this picture from when I was 11.
Aunt Cathrine always has some good lipstick in her purse.
Watching a show together Lily wanted to sit on Isaac's lap.
Celebrated JoAnna's birthday with a walk around the Brigham City bird refuge.

Muscles.  Don't mess.
Ava & Owen finished spring soccer season.

Hair & Makeup by Ava.  Lily was in heaven.
Grape cheeks!
Field trip day! Ava to Minnetonka cave and Owen to the Treehouse Museum.
Ava had a great year!  For their school performance her teacher took words that the 1st graders wrote about the 7 habits and turned them into songs!  It was impressive! First graders are so dang cute!
She had a great teacher that she loved!

Owen had a great teacher that he loved too.
Ava had been talking about her end of year performance for a long time so when I went to watch I was surprised Owen was performing too because he never mentioned it.  But he did great and wasn't too cool to smile & even slightly waved when Isaac yelled out his name.

Lily fell asleep on this chair around 7:00 pm and made bedtime a little easier :).  Her little piggy tail barely made it through the day.

Owen helped Isaac put his pj's...
Lily only wants to wear Isaac's jammie's these days.
Smile like this Isaac.
Our very own double decker bus.
Sleeping Lily girl.
And Ava let me get a picture of her cute curly hairs around her face.
Isaac's preschool graduation!

He loved all of his teachers.
Cute little graduate!
Owen carved, put together and painted an awesome boat for his scout Raingutter Regata boat race.  Cracks me up that he's still wearing his pj shirt under his scout shirt from his school pj & read-a-thon party earlier.
Fun Run at school!  Owen & Ava did great!
Wahoo! We made it!

Snow cones helped us officially welcome in summer.
Then that weekend we had a family party.  Hooray for cousins!
