April

Isaac & Lily love hanging out with Dad-

Good morning-

Lily is a snuggly baby and had a good nap on Grandpa's shoulder.

Isaac loves his Uncle Patrick.

Owen & Ava both played soccer this Spring.  Owen loved it.  He was pretty timid at first and stayed back and observed a lot but got into as the season went on and had a lot of fun.

Ava can be a little bruiser sometimes so we were curious what she'd be like in a soccer game.  She got into playing a little but often just liked running around.  This was her first time being part of a team and had watched Owen get so many treats in past seasons so she was most excited about getting a treat!

Bedtime stories-
And bedtime snuggles-

One day Ava spent hours creating this little desk out of boxes and containers.  She was so proud.

Handsome Isaac-

Ava with her awesome preschool teacher Laura.  She loved the teachers, crafting, pretending and all the activities at preschool.

Getting treats at Mooches with Grandpa, Dallin Paul & Patrick-

More Soccer-  It was super cold at the beginning of the season but luckily warmed up each week.
Thanks for coming to cheer Grandma!

For Saturday jobs I found Ava like this- I guess cleaning the basement was just to much for Ava-

My friend told me about sock curls and I'd seen it on this website so we decided to give them a try.  They are totally awesome!

Happy Birthday Mom Huff!

Snuggles before Isaac's naptime.  I'm a lucky mom to get to share my lap with these two.

Lily started rolling over at 5 months  She's so strong that doing physical things seems so easy for her after watching it take so much more work & effort for Isaac!

Having fun with cousins!

Lily still falls asleep on my shoulder-

Christmas!

Ward Christmas Party:

Our ward has the neat tradition of acting out the nativity while the audience sings a Primary Christmas song. Ava makes a cute little angel!
And Owen looked very wise in his shorts & boots :).

Dipping Grandma's Yummy Chocolates:
After my mom was done making her fancy, perfect chocolates to sell, she let her grandkids dip some chocolates.
Having your hands covered in chocolate is awesome.
Owen got in on the action too.
And Isaac liked the headband :).

 Christmas Eve:
New baby smiles are something else!

Ava is a lucky girl and gets to take dance lessons from her Grandma so for part of our Christmas Eve program Madalyn, Ava, & Cora did a cute dance.
And Grandma read a Christmas story by candlelight.

When we got home before bed we read the Christmas story from the Bible.  It was especially neat to have a newborn to play the part of baby Jesus.  Christmas with a new baby is such a sweet experience.
Lot of love for this little girl.

Christmas Morning:

Owen got a lot stronger
Lucky for Ava- I got to go to the American Girl Doll warehouse sale with Lexie in the summer so Ava got just what she always wanted.
And Isaac loved Owen's new shoes.

The Book Find:

I love that my kids are getting old enough to remember, understand and look forward to the bookfind.  It's such a fun tradition!

It definitely was a Happy Holidays!
