Owen Turns 4!

On August 20th, Owen turned the big #4!
We are lucky to have you in our family. We love you very much.

To celebrate, we partied all day long-

He woke up at 7:00 (which is early for Owen ) cause he was so excited. Daddy went to work a little later so we could have a big yummy breakfast together. We were extra lucky when Grandpa surprised us and we got to eat with him too. Owen got to open up some new underwears.

We went to the park and came home for a fun picnic in our backyard with Cheetos, Owen's favorite.

After Ava's nap, we went swimming at the Aquatic Center with Michael, Madalyn & Becca. Owen went down the big slide all by himself!

Then we picked Dad up from work and went bowling.

After a McDonald's dinner we came home to a lot of people that love you and had a party. I had asked Owen what kind of cake he wanted and all I got out of him was that he wanted a sugar cake. So, that was easy.

Huff Family Reunion

At the beginning of August, we went up to Star Valley for the Huff family reunion. We got to stay at an awesome ranch where we were super comfortable and got to do lots of fun stuff & eat lots of yummy food. And by comfortable I mean Matthew & I both wish we could sleep on that bed with those pillows every night. It was fun. We even had a middle of the night party at the Star Valley Medical Center ER. Elaine was the host of that party after falling off a horse earlier that day- I'm not really sure she enjoyed her own party as much as the rest of us did and the location probably was a little pricey for the area but what can you do, it was her party.

What a nice bunch. I am lucky to be counted a part of.

Riding 4-wheelers. A few of us went on this awesome ride up & down a mountain and through a couple streams/rivers that was so beautiful and a little scary. It rocked.

Ava wasn't to sure about getting on the horse but after just a minute liked it. And thanks to the good leading skills of Shawn, we had a good ride.

Owen was not going to ride any horses at first but then got brave enough to try it and by looking at that face, loved it.

David & Patrese enjoying the rodeo. After, Holly & Patrese rode back with us and if I remember right, Holly was so impressed after watching her first rodeo, she wants to start one in Pennsylvania :).

24th of July!

We love the parade that comes in front of our house and have decided that the next house we buy might need to have a little parade come in front of it cause it's awesome. We also love when people come to watch it with us.
