March- Part 2

 Grandma & Grandpa Huff came for Sunday dinner.

 Hooray for cardigan weather!

With tummies full of Lucky charms & plenty of green we had a great St. Patrick's Day!  They both thought it was crazy they had school on such a big holiday.

 When it was time to go to school Isaac got really sad and tried his best to get out of it.

 But this is what he looked like after.  Good try Isaac, good try. 

 Lily was "helping"me cook. 

 Another day this is what happened at the mention of school.  

 Then I remembered this little schedule thing I used to draw for my little brother and it did the trick!  He was happy to cross off the things he did then we rode bikes and watched Daniel Tiger when he got home.  

 We enjoyed some warmer spring weather at the park.

 3/21 we enjoyed a Happy World Down Syndrome Day!  

 Isaac is a lucky nephew!

 1st grade reading homework while I fix dinner. 

Ava has been trying to do the splits and is getting closer but Isaac easily has her beat.  

Isaac always falls asleep on his bus ride home but this day he woke up enough to smile and walk off himself.  He's so little in that big bus!

March- Part 1

 12 years ago on March 1st I got engaged to my best friend! 

According to Owen you need sunglasses when it snows so you can watch it coming down  Isaac agrees. 

We were so excited to get some snow!!! Owen & Ava helped me shovel then had to play in it before school. 

 That's some good bed head hair Lily! 

A snowman's a snowman no matter how small.  So glad we finally had enough snow to make one!

 At the library Lily said hello to a little boy.  I peaked around the corner and she said: 

Lily- That's a boy.

Me- Yep, that's a boy.

Lily- I like boys.  :) 

If one chair is good, then two must be better.

 Hooray for Daddy coming home from another trip!!! 

After many long toothless months Ava could bite into an apple today!!!

 Jr Jazz! 

Pretty sure Grandma's foundation is the wrong shade for your lips Lily. 

 We love going to Grandma's house.  The only problem is that eventually we have to leave!

Waiting for Isaac's bus- he is growing up!

 Looking good for school! He was excited.

 Going for a walk today helped Lily get a little nap. 

 Isaac & Lily often join Matt & I in our bed before morning.  Why do they always go sideways?!?!

 Somedays my  kids could care less about books from the library and other days we max out every card.  This was a good library day.  

 Kids didn't have school so we went to the zoo and were lucky to have my mom come with us!!!

Ava helped me make a pie for March 14, 3.14, Pi day.  She chose lemon meringue.
