May- Anniversary Trip

At the beginning of May Matt & I got to go on a anniversary trip to San Francisco!  It was so fun to be together and do whatever we wanted all day long! We got a list of suggestions of things to do from a friend that grew up there and had a blast!
We saw the Full House house and had a good time remembering the lyrics-
"Ah, whatever happened to predictability... The milkman, the paperboy and evening tv.....Everywhere you look, everywhere you turn theres a heart, a hand to hold onto."
The Botanical Garden's at Golden Gate Park were so pretty.

We had the most amazing burrito on Mission street.  Check out that giant bowl of guacamole!

We drove down the coast to Half Moon Bay.  It was so fun to walk on the beach, check out some tidepools and smell the ocean.

We went to a fun place for dinner called the Burma Superstar then had the most amazing ice cream at Bi-Rite Creamery.
Then we went to the Giants baseball game.  This was my first Major League baseball game and I was surprised how fun it was.
On Saturday we walked to a fun Dim Sum place for breakfast/lunch that according to Matthew was pretty authentic.  It was so fun to see the pushy helpfulness of the culture until I didn't need them anymore then they abruptly were gone.  I had my favorite dim sum to date that was like a pot sticker but also had broth in the little pocket.  Mmmm, makes my water thinking about it.
Then we walked to the farmer's market at the Ferry building.
We got a bowl of chowder at Fisherman's wharf and a hot fudge sundae at Ghirardelli Square that were both delicious.
We walked around a couple shops by our hotel and this was the wall in the Nike store.  Looked just like the bleachers from my highschool.
For dinner we went to a fun little family run Italian restaurant. The next morning we went to church and then we flew home.  We had such a great time together! Thanks for watching our kids Mom & Cathrine!

The next week we got to do Temple Sealings where we were married.
Happy 12 years to us!
