For Memorial Day we visited the cemeteries in Fairview & Dayton. It's always fun to hear stories about my grandparents and the good lives they lived. After, we visited a park my Grandpa Phillips helped plan & build that I played at a bunch as a kid. I hadn't been there in a long time and it was fun to take my kids to enjoy the same things I did.
I was the most happy to see this duck still there!
This was the first time my kids have seen/played on a merry-go-round and a teeter-totter. They just don't make parks the same as they used to. They loved them both!
I know I already did a merry-go-round picture but for my family- see the blue slide in the background? Remember that?
And this slide? It's still the coolest slide.
Whoever decided to put leg holes on both sides of a swing seat was very smart.
Thinking this park should become part of our memorial day traditions.

The Bear River park has one of those merry-go-rounds, and they used to have a great big metal slide and teeter-totters, but they took them out and put in one of those generic playground things. Sad. They really don't make parks like they used to.
This is fantastic sis- thanks for posting! I need to take my kiddos to this park soon!
Isaac's tongue-out grin is my favorite!
