February- Part 2

We went to the fun park and I looked away for a second and Isaac disappeared.  We were looking in the bowling area, outside & all over and then I saw a crowd gathering.... turns out he had crawled inside this game and was happy as could be smiling and dancing for everyone that was watching him.
Matt did some product testing at a place a few hours away from Brian & Lexie's so he got to stay at their house & meet baby Sully!  We were all so jealous at home!
While I was getting ready Isaac & Lily were getting themselves hotdogs for a snack. Raw.  And Lily grabbed a knife and was cutting them up.  Yikes!
Not sure why Lily put the flarp putty in her hair but luckily it came out.
 Buddies.
Isaac started preschool!  It's hard for me to share my kids with the world but he's ready.
At books one night Ava read to Lily and Owen read to Isaac.

Isaac's speech teacher was so good!  His speech is really coming along.

Isaac was a little nervous to go to school so we made a plan that we'd all color with sidewalk chalk when he got home.  We made a big barn and animals and it was a party.

These two have a good time together.

Ava & I had a girls night out and went to an Aggie gymnastics meet.  It was so fun!  The funniest part of the night was when a gymnast with some junk in her trunk was doing the beam and Ava said, "that girl has a big bun." I thought she said 'bum' cause I guess I was thinking the same thing so I started going off about how we are all different... and she looked at me weird and said, "what are you talking about! What did you think I said?!?!?! I said I like her hair bun!" Oops.
Jr. Jazz. When anyone asked him if he liked basketball he would say that it was ok but he liked soccer better :).
Isaac loves his puppy and did everything with him for a few days.

Owen dressed up to look 'nice' for his science fair project.  Third grade is awesome.
My little shoppers.  Owen wore his tie a few days after the science fair with any outfit.
Isaac thought he was so funny when he put Lily's jammies on.  He kept saying in a high voice, "I'm a girl."

February- Part 1

Ava was looking good in her Punky Brewster outfit for school :).
I don't know how these two fit into this little doll bed but they thought it was so funny!
Lily started talking to and taking good care of her baby.  It's adorable!
Playing games at Grandma & Grandpa's house.
Owen teaching Lily how to be a "Dude"

 Friday after school playdates!

Matthew got back from a 'quick' trip to China!

After a few trips that Matthew has done recently this quote rang so true when I read it- "She knew she loved him when 'home' went from being a place to being a person. "  -E. Levanthal.  It's true, home just doesn't feel like home without him.

Sunday afternoon naps.
Isaac & Lily got a good nap together on the couch one afternoon. It was glorious.

 Lily is ready!
On a walk, Isaac was so proud Lily fell asleep on his shoulder and played with her hair on our way home until he fell asleep at the end :).
Best way to read a book at the library.
Valentine's Day!  Ava made the cutest valentine's and drew each person in her class!

And had cute heart hair for school!
Owen wasn't sure if he was to old for Valentine's but did them anyways.
On Valentine's Day we attempted to have heart pancakes, strawberries & sausage.
And for Valentine's dinner we used our fancy glasses so of course it was fancy.
Owen made lemon water for us.
And Ava made a yummy hot fudge sauce for ice cream.  What a great holiday to celebrate Love!
And pretty Lily with her cool eyes.

January- Part 2

This is Lily's latest shenanigans- she hides whatever she's sneaking with her hands or behind her back and comes right next to me.  This time it was a gumball.

Matt went to a tradeshow in Canada for a long weekend so we needed to party to pass the time.  On Friday we watched a classic from my childhood "Dunston Checks In." After Owen said, "I like those old movies that people get beat up by kids."

Sunday afternoon game of battleship with Owen.
These two know how to have a good time.

Then Monday was a holiday so we went down to the zoo!

It rained  pretty hard at the end and we got soaked. There was no way Lily was going to sit the stroller to stay dry.
Then we got some Nielsen's custard on our way home.

Playdough is the coolest!  Lily making snakes for the first time.

Want.....cook..ie.....zzzzzzz
Read the book "Matilda" and watched the movie and loved them both!
Lily brought this book to me and said, "Uh-Oh! Markers!" then she went and got a bunch of soap on her hands to wash her off with.  She's a little too familiar with coloring on her skin.
Bedtime-  Isaac & Lily looking good in their jammies & Owen entertaining us with a joke book he found at the library.

Lily & I's struggle about her getting dressed ended like this.  Poor thing.  No wonder she was so grumpy!
At Owen's Jr. Jazz game Patrick went and sat next to him on the bench and Owen pulled down these weird glasses from the inside of his hat.
Lily got a pretty good bonk that gave her some serious color over the next few weeks. Owie!
Lip gloss, check.

Owen & I went to our ward ski night-  Owen is getting fast & good and we had a blast! On the way home Owen said his favorite part was talking with me on the ski lift.

I found part of one of these melty bead L.O.V.E's in his coat pocket and he totally rolled his eyes and was embarrassed so I was very curious who they were for and wondered if he had his first crush at school.  Then I saw him creating another one.  Then that evening Matthew & I found them on our pillows.  Cute boy.

While Isaac was running out the front door of a store today Lily seized the opportunity to open a Chapstick so we had to buy it.  She totally scored on me being outnumbered.
We love our library!
Isaac is helpful like this.
These two brought some crazy out of each other and thought they were hilarious.
And  I don't know how but Isaac can still fold up inside this doll crib!
