January- Part 2

This is Lily's latest shenanigans- she hides whatever she's sneaking with her hands or behind her back and comes right next to me.  This time it was a gumball.

Matt went to a tradeshow in Canada for a long weekend so we needed to party to pass the time.  On Friday we watched a classic from my childhood "Dunston Checks In." After Owen said, "I like those old movies that people get beat up by kids."

Sunday afternoon game of battleship with Owen.
These two know how to have a good time.

Then Monday was a holiday so we went down to the zoo!

It rained  pretty hard at the end and we got soaked. There was no way Lily was going to sit the stroller to stay dry.
Then we got some Nielsen's custard on our way home.

Playdough is the coolest!  Lily making snakes for the first time.

Want.....cook..ie.....zzzzzzz
Read the book "Matilda" and watched the movie and loved them both!
Lily brought this book to me and said, "Uh-Oh! Markers!" then she went and got a bunch of soap on her hands to wash her off with.  She's a little too familiar with coloring on her skin.
Bedtime-  Isaac & Lily looking good in their jammies & Owen entertaining us with a joke book he found at the library.

Lily & I's struggle about her getting dressed ended like this.  Poor thing.  No wonder she was so grumpy!
At Owen's Jr. Jazz game Patrick went and sat next to him on the bench and Owen pulled down these weird glasses from the inside of his hat.
Lily got a pretty good bonk that gave her some serious color over the next few weeks. Owie!
Lip gloss, check.

Owen & I went to our ward ski night-  Owen is getting fast & good and we had a blast! On the way home Owen said his favorite part was talking with me on the ski lift.

I found part of one of these melty bead L.O.V.E's in his coat pocket and he totally rolled his eyes and was embarrassed so I was very curious who they were for and wondered if he had his first crush at school.  Then I saw him creating another one.  Then that evening Matthew & I found them on our pillows.  Cute boy.

While Isaac was running out the front door of a store today Lily seized the opportunity to open a Chapstick so we had to buy it.  She totally scored on me being outnumbered.
We love our library!
Isaac is helpful like this.
These two brought some crazy out of each other and thought they were hilarious.
And  I don't know how but Isaac can still fold up inside this doll crib!
