Rest of 2014

My Birthday!  I say that with big excitement although 3 days after Christmas I was all funned out.  But luckily my family is awesome and it was great.
My birthday was on Sunday so we partied for 2 days-  On Saturday I wanted to go sledding so the kids gave me two awesome round sleds for my birthday.  And although it was freezing cold outside we went for a minute.

Then on Sunday since it was my birthday I talked our family into a picture.  I do love this family of mine.
Ava picked out this cute necklace for me.
And Owen & Ava played Enchanted Forest with me.
Then we went to a big Huff dinner.
Lily loves her cousin Mabel and we got this awesome selfie before dinner :).
Glad I have Matthew by my side to help me be better every day and he made me this awesome cake.
 And then we partied hard.
I brought these two littles home for bed and had to take a picture because this is my life and I love it.

Thanks again Amazon for making Christmas shopping so easy and for the boxes!!!
You know when you are getting your hair cut by someone with their head partly shaved with spikes and blue hair and you wonder why you ever let that person touch your hair?  I wondered if Isaac wondered the same thing as Lily with a purple eyebrow was putting on some lip gloss... but he seemed cool with it.
And Lily was ready to hit the slopes in Ava's gear.

More in December-

Best friends.
Enjoying some warm weather in December! JoAnna you caught this jump at the perfect time!
For Ava's birthday she got a gift card to Build-A-Bear. We'd never been before and Ava loved it!  Meet Fancy.

Then we met up with family and enjoyed the lights at Temple Square:
Magical with so many lights! Chad & Lucy.
Toph & his cute kiddos.
Awe, cute Cathrine & Alex.
These two were so happy to hang out!
Silly Lily wouldn't keep her coat on but stayed warm enough bundled up with Dad.

Owen's favorite color is red so he loved these lights.

I love this family of mine!

Later in December:
We had a good round of Five Crowns with Grandma & Grandpa.
We took a drive to my hometown to see the Hollingsworth's Christmas lights that go all out!  They were even better than I remember as a kid.  It was fun to enjoy them with my own family!
More sleeping under the Christmas tree.  (Lily never made it to sleep with everyone but looks cute pretending here :).

Christmas Day!

Our kids woke up around 7:00 and we came to the entry way that Matthew had covered in wrapping paper that they broke through!
We went for the stockings first and Lily was perfectly content with her new pack of gum.
And then Isaac & Lily opened their bubble guns.  Best. presents. ever.

Ava was excited for a gymnastics outfit!
And Lily got a fun lock and key door set that everyone helped her figure out.
So many bubbles!

Isaac got this cutest barn that he loves to line his animals up in.
Ava gave Matthew & I a present that she made in school that was cute.  She was surprised that we didn't cry like last year when she gave us a calendar with her little handprints on it and how she would grow and not be little for very long.
In Owen's class at school they had secretly picked a box buddy which was a classmates name and filled a shoebox with different things they'd made.  He wanted to do it in our family.  So secretly with my mom powers Owen & Ava got each other's names but thought everyone was doing it which kept them off each other's tracks.  It was perfect to keep them busy crafting many melty bead creations and stories for each other. They were both so happy to give them to each other!

After midnight on Christmas morning it started snowing and we woke up to a white Christmas!  So after presents were opened we had to play in it!

Then we had visitors!

Owen got a couple Lego sets and spent most of his day putting them together.
Trying out our new crafting supplies.  It was a great Christmas morning & afternoon!
Then that afternoon we had a lovely Christmas dinner with the Huff's.
Owen enjoyed an awesome game with his big cousins. He's getting older!

It was a perfect Christmas day.
