Our kids woke up around 7:00 and we came to the entry way that Matthew had covered in wrapping paper that they broke through!
We went for the stockings first and Lily was perfectly content with her new pack of gum.
And then Isaac & Lily opened their bubble guns. Best. presents. ever.
Ava was excited for a gymnastics outfit!
And Lily got a fun lock and key door set that everyone helped her figure out.
So many bubbles!
Ava gave Matthew & I a present that she made in school that was cute. She was surprised that we didn't cry like last year when she gave us a calendar with her little handprints on it and how she would grow and not be little for very long.
In Owen's class at school they had secretly picked a box buddy which was a classmates name and filled a shoebox with different things they'd made. He wanted to do it in our family. So secretly with my mom powers Owen & Ava got each other's names but thought everyone was doing it which kept them off each other's tracks. It was perfect to keep them busy crafting many melty bead creations and stories for each other. They were both so happy to give them to each other!
After midnight on Christmas morning it started snowing and we woke up to a white Christmas! So after presents were opened we had to play in it!
Then we had visitors!
Owen got a couple Lego sets and spent most of his day putting them together.
Trying out our new crafting supplies. It was a great Christmas morning & afternoon!
Then that afternoon we had a lovely Christmas dinner with the Huff's.
Owen enjoyed an awesome game with his big cousins. He's getting older!
It was a perfect Christmas day.
