Another outing we were so happy we got to do this summer.

Isaac is such a good sleeper. He already sleeps through the night and pretty much has at just a few weeks old when we asked the dr if we could stop waking him up every 3 hours to eat like we did in the NICU and he said ya lets just see what he does. Ya, its awesome.

It was great to hang out and be together and fun to see the kids play hard all day and just love being with their cousins.

Some of Our Summer-

Rodeo-We took Owen & Ava to the Preston Rodeo. We had a good time. Owen's favorite was the bucking broncos. At one part we had a bunch of dirt kicked up on us and Owen thought it was so funny.

I learned a little lesson about leaving our basket of paints outside after I gave them a little bit on a plate. Oops. Also how acrylic paint doesn't wash out/off of a lot of things.

Matt went to China in August and surprisingly (Byron) we survived pretty well.

Late in the summer we discovered how much fun Merlin Olsen Park is with the shade and shallow water. Ava loved dipping her head in the cold water.

Isaac was a fan of the shade.

A fun trip to the zoo-

Ava decided she really liked instant oatmeal dry for a few days.

Big Deal

So, big deal... I didn't have to use my pump even once yesterday! Isaac is a stronger eater and doing awesome!

Thankful for...

So yesterday in church I had the luck to teach the 11-year old primary kids about David & Bathsheba in Sunday school. The lesson went fine, we didn't go into any detail but talked about how to control our thoughts and what we should do if we are faced with temptation. At the end one of the boys gave the closing prayer and said, "We are thankful we could come to church and learn about temptation today."

What we've been up to-

Mostly we've just been loving up our little man.

Big Girl!

Ava made the transition from a crib to a toddler bed-and she is tickled pink about it. She love that she can get in & out all by herself and has actually been good about staying in it for the most part.

Owen got to camp over night with my parents and Toph's family which he was so excited about while Matt, Ava, Isaac and I went home to sleep in our beds. The next morning we got to watch the North Logan parade. It is such a great parade. And luckily we haven't sold our old house yet so we got to watch it from our front yard.

Ava sat on Matt's lap through the whole parade. She didn't even get off to snag a candy.

I was thinking Sarah- maybe you should start strengthening Olivia's neck muscles so that next year she can be on that boat float with a big tiara :).

After the parade we headed back up to the river. Fun times floating the river- Owen didn't go down with us on this run cause he'd already gone down a few times. Ava loved it.

I've got no strings to hold me down...

This picture was taken this morning. Then this afternoon I turned off his oxygen and we went to the doctor to check his oxygen saturation. For two hours we watched and... he passed! We took the nose tube canula & the sticky cheek patch thingy's off! Also he's been gaining weight great and now weighs 8 pounds 2 ounces.

It is so fun to carry him around without lugging & balancing the oxygen tank or changing his clothes is a little easier but most of all it's fun to see all of his cute face.
