Buddy Walk-

We went to our first Buddy Walk in October.  From what I saw a Buddy Walk is a big party that we celebrate people with Down syndrome, raise awareness of what it is and raise money for supporting families.  Anyone is welcome to come and it was a lot of fun.

Big Blue was even there!  This picture is such a big deal because Ava usually freaks out with fear when she sees big blue or pretty much any person dressed up as a character near her (examples: Goofy at Disneyland, Santa Claus, Husky Dog person at school last year).  I don't know why she freaks out so much but when she saw Big Blue taking a picture with somebody else near us she said she wanted to give Big Blue a high five at an Aggie Basketball game this winter.  I was super surprised but thought I'd push a little bit since Big Blue was close to us so I said let's do it right now.   She was a little nervous but walked up to him with me and put her hand out for a high five and Big Blue gave her a big hug! And Ava let him!  Then he made a big heart with his hands over his heart and pointed at Ava.  She was so proud of how brave she was and happy to tell everyone that "Big Blue is in love with me" she'd say.
The bounce houses were a big hit!
 Face Painting!
I wish I'd video-ed Isaac when looked in the mirror at his newly painted puppy-dog face-  he was so surprised and happy!
 Puppy & Kitty.
Owen was a skeleton or something creepy.
 Pony Rides!

 And a train ride!

We also got to go through a corn maze!
We played hard and Isaac & Lily crashed.
