May 2014

Hooray! We made it to the end of school!  With the help of these munchkins we decorated the art teachers door.  It was awesome, the teacher even said it was her favorite quote- score!

We went to an an Brazilian martial arts/dance class at the elementary school that was super fun.  I totally pretend kicked the head guy that made him do this flip thing.

 Sunday afternoon chillin'.
When Ava saw this picture she said, "I like when Cathrine makes that 4-wheeler thing work."
Matt made some yummy creme brulee for
My Dad's birthday!
On May 9th we celebrated our anniversary with this fancy dinner.
For Mother's Day the kids brought home a rose from primary.
Owen made this lego heart because he loves me,
And Ava wrote this cute card at school.  She's right, I do love her :).
I'm such a lucky mom.  I love being a mother.
Cute Lily.
Fun picture with Grandma & Grandpa.
Ava finished out her soccer season!
She had some good cheerleaders-

And is still practicing her hand stands.
Matt and I got to celebrate our anniversary with a little trip to Salt Lake. We had so much fun!
See that hot cocoa?  Ya, it was amazing along with the whole breakfast and the other food we ate over the weekend!
We also went on a beautiful hike to Donut Falls in Cottonwood Canyon, went to a movie, ate yummy food,
and made a trip to the temple.  It was so fun to relax and just enjoy each other.
Sunday stroll.

Ava & I went to Owen's school for lunch with him.
Ava looking tough with her shiner.
Hooray for warm weather!

Lip gloss makes you so pretty Lily.

Owen's the best big brother!
Park day field trip with Ava's class!  I'm sure going to miss having her home for half the day!
Owen had a little program in his class.  It's been a great year.
Owen's awesome teacher Mrs. Christian.

Wahoo!  Summer is officially here!

To celebrate we went to get a snowcone.

And the next day we thought we'd start the summer party and went for a hike.
Thankfully with my sister's help!
The river was flooded over the road that made for a great wading/pushup spot :).

We also got our garden planted in May!  We extended it about 5 feet and are trying the Mittleider method. If nothing else it looks cool.
