April 2014

At the beginning of April we enjoyed Spring Break!  One of the days we went to the Treehouse Children's Museum.

Although it wasn't warm, Owen & Ava enjoyed some time outside... with blankets.

I think we may have been a little bit in denial of how cold it actually was because we were so ready for Spring and it was Spring Break... so had a picnic and walked up to the cave in Green Canyon.

We celebrated my mom's Birthday!
Isaac zonked out watching Owen play and iPad or something.
With Ava's good friend and her mom we went on an awesome hike where somebody secretly builds these cairns or rock creations that were so cool.

Cute Lily.
Ava rocked her leggings at her soccer games.
A selfie Ava got while JoAnna & I were finding some good finds at the DI.
A fun hike with cousins!

Easter!

Isaac is a lucky/spoiled boy and would only allow Uncle Patrick to carry him out to our van and buckle him up.
The next day we went up to the river and played and threw the eggs we'd dyed.

Then we had an Easter egg hunt.
Tucker found the secret egg hiding spot on the swing set.
Lily was a big fan.  And was so busy enjoying what was inside the eggs to gather very many.

For Sunday I found this cute material and made matching skirts for Ava & Lily.
For some reason Lily loves to suck on markers and bite the tips off-  this is what she looks like when I take them away.
Isaac loves to line up his animals and carefully place them just so.
Ava cruising through her kindergarten homework.
For Family Home Evening we went on a little hike by the same spot that Matthew proposed to me up Right Hand Fork.  It was beautiful and we found a big beaver dam.
While we were walking back, Owen was walking slowly taking everything in.  I slowed down to talk with him and he said, "I don't know why but I feel so happy in nature."  And when we got home he said, "I'm feeling a little sad we aren't doing our hike anymore."

Owen earned his Bobcat in scouts.
We also got to celebrate Matt's mom's birthday in April!
When Lily wakes up she has to hand you everything that's in her crib before you can grab her.  Usually it's just her blanket and water but this time was a bit much :).
Ava has spent almost as much time upside down as right side up practicing her headstands.

March 2014

One day I was working so hard to get our house clean.  I was focused on the kitchen and got it sparkling when Ava yelled from the bathroom "Mom! Come quick!"  I ran in and found what had been entertaining Isaac- he was happily taking all of his animals for a swim in the toilet.

Aggie Basketball games with Dad!

Lily had her first piggy tail.

It was starting to get warm enough to go for a walk outside!

Coloring here, there & everywhere.
Matt helped a friend sell trailers at a tradeshow in Salt Lake for a few days so we went down too.  We stayed with my brother and had fun playing with cousins and my sister-in-law, Emily,  made some awesome corned beef & cabbage.

Cruising.
Nice hat.

3/21 is World Down Syndrome Day!

Went to a fun tour at the Logan airport and got to sit in a real plane.
One day, unconsciously I dressed myself, Isaac & Lily all in dark blue & gray. I guess I just naturally go for those colors when I want to be comfy :).
Twinner aggies in midget mode.

And another happy day happened when we got our game closet all organized!

February 2014

Now that we are in the heat of summer these snow pictures feel so forever ago!
In February we got dumped on with snow and the kids were loving it!
Isaac was totally coming to get me with that snowball.

 Ava loves her friend Maggie.
 Cuties!

For Valentine cards this year we found a printout card that Ava could draw each person's face & hair, which she did in great detail and they were adorable. She was so excited to give them to her classmates.
Heart pancakes for breakfast.
Heart piggy tails!
And for dinner we were lucky to have roasted chicken & vegetables that Matthew made for us.  It was amazing and tasted extra fancy with fancy cups and candles.
Owen's Jr. Jazz games were fun to watch.
 Some good cheerleaders.
Lily started climbing up on the table and was loving this sour cream.  We love that stuff at house.
 Grandpa Huff had a birthday!

Matthew found out he "gets" to find a new job because they are closing down the office here.  It was shocking news that has since turned out awesome but at the time was kind of crazy.  Because we felt a little side-swiped, I totally missed mom's & muffins at Owen's school so we made up for it and got doughnuts early before school and watched the sun rise.  It was fun, I love my Owen boy.
