24th of July!
We love the parade that comes in front of our house and have decided that the next house we buy might need to have a little parade come in front of it cause it's awesome. We also love when people come to watch it with us.

Hooray for parades in front of our cute house!

Cute JoAnna, Ava & Eliza peeking from behind.

Truman & Owen

Is it coming yet?

Owen's far away Grandma & Grandpa & his close Grandma & Grandpa. That's how Owen describes which is which. It's pretty funny cause his far away grandparents live just a few blocks away :).

Hooray for candy.

More Hanging Out & Willow Flats
We had a fun hike up Willow Flats-
We felt safe with Chad cause he's a Dare Graduate you know.
It is such a beautiful place and the water's so cold to drink coming right out of the mountain. Here's some more great pictures- Emily Ann's Blog
Together Again- Bear Lake
Phillips Reunion- It's the first year we've had an official reunion with my brothers & sisters. It was a fun packed week!
We stayed at Bear Lake for a few days-
It was so fun to be all together again!-
Ate good food-
Did a ton of fun things with Grandma-
Went to the lake-
And partied till we dropped-

Here's a couple links to more fun pics of our Bear Lake festivities-

Catch Up-
I haven't posted about what we've been up to for a long time- here's my attempt to catch up on the fun summer we've been having-
In June we got to run in the Ragnar Wasatch Back with Matt's work. It was a little crazy but a lot of fun! During Matthew's last leg, running early in the morning he had a moose cross the road in front of him coming into Heber.

Playing in the sprinklers-

Moving in a new couch & loveseat from our neighbors basement...

We were so excited to have a loveseat in our long living room but turns out their dog had a favorite side on both of the couches. After much cleaning and spraying with Nature's Miracle the smell was still there so...

I went to girls' camp for a few days and when I came home Owen & Matthew had a big surprise for me- new, clean couches! I appreciate them so much more after trying so hard to clean the other ones :). And they have passed the Sunday afternoon nap test.
A trip to the river-

4th of July!

Ava's first piggy tails- She was not a fan of getting these in. Whenever she sees an elastic or goes by the cupboard where I have bows & hair stuff she points to her head, gets a sad face and says, "ow!"
Slip n' Slide action-

For the fireworks that night I think we started a new tradition- we rode our bikes up to an awesome little spot. Ava fell asleep on the way and slept through the whole thing. On our way up there, Owen said, "This is my favorite thing to ride bikes to fire works!" Matthew even figured out a way for us to bring our camp chairs with us and of course these tiny little boom boxes to hear the music. It was totally awesome.

Those Amazon recommendations are getting pretty good-
This morning I got an email from Amazon that started off like this- "Amazon.com has new recommendations for you based on..."
Then it recommended this book.
I almost thought it was going to finish the above sentence like this "Amazon.com has new recommendations for you based on... the day you had yesterday."
Funny to get an email like that this morning. And don't worry- I am happy to say that today was a good day and Owen's mom did not breathe any fire.
