So, last Thursday I was happy to discover Ava's left eye was clear as a bell without a goober in sight. After all these months of wiping Ava's dried up tears, I almost had to wipe a few of my own. And her right eye seems to be improving as well. Notice in this picture her left eye is clear and I hadn't wiped it even once all morning. This is really great news for Ava because she hates me cleaning off her eyes all the time, waking up with her eyes stuck shut, and because she had until she turned 7 months old (which is tomorrow) before she'd have to see an Ear, Nose, & Throat specialist to set up a surgery where they would have knocked her out and poked the tear ducts open. From what we've heard, it sounds pretty painful. Anyways, we feel blessed she doesn't need the surgery and we are happy to see Ava's pretty eyes.
